WEMBLEY ARCH STUNT
THE BRIEF

A headline-grabbing, daredevil stunt by EE at the home of football to launch the world’s first 4G enabled live streaming camera. Don’t try this at home, kids!

The overarching pitch – scale new heights to make the impossible possible. Aside from the glaring H&S concerns of precariously placing a man with a live Cam on top of a 400ft arch, Wembley Stadium had exacting security standards and a worldwide public image to maintain, which meant getting this world-first project approved was a huge challenge for all involved.

Several months later though, after reams of red tape but thankfully no red cards, the team’s relentless hard work (and head for heights) paid off as they managed to skillfully tackle the myriad planning issues to conquer this iconic landmark.

THE OUTCOME

To summit up – back of the net! A breath-taking product launch which gained coverage in all corners of the globe within hours. We also got to go in a helicopter which was pretty great.
