Staying ahead of the curve…UPDATED: 12.03.2018Today, Monday 12 March, is “a landmark day” in occupational safety and health as ISO 45001 is launched.

What is ISO 45001?

ISO 45001 is currently going through the last stages of its development and is expected to be implemented in the first half of next year.It will replace the current international Occupational Health and Safety Standard 18001 and companies that currently operate the 18001 system will have a three year period to adapt to the new requirements.

HornerSalus
With extensive experience in supporting our clients to achieve ISO standards in the events and hospitality industries and otherwise, we are currently working with clients to achieve the ISO 45001 standard when it is released. This is a great opportunity for all involved as an early adaption of the standard sends a clear message to suppliers, clients and competition about an organisation’s ability to stay ahead of the curve and embrace challenges.

What we do
We have been enabling organisations to achieve ISO standards for several years and we have had various clients that see the benefit for company and product alike and have helped them achieve ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Our success is based on the idea that we don’t override existing systems and procedures, but that we adapt and nurture where necessary.

This allows for improved practices while concentrating on the areas where the biggest improvements can be achieved. We are proud to say that all of our past clients’ audits have been successful the first time around with not a single re-visit, and we are looking to continue this trend into 2018 and beyond with the exciting addition of ISO 45001.
